Relationships Manager
What We’re Looking For:
The Aleph Institute’s West Coast division, is looking to fill a critical role on our team by hiring a Relationships Manger who will work alongside the director to manage and sustain the leads and relationships initiated by him. We’re looking for a person who enjoys connecting with others and maintaining relationships, and has significant experience interacting with members of different Jewish communities as well attorneys, government officials etc. This person should be a someone who thrives on networking and building relationships and has a passion for knowing just the right thing for the right person at the right time. He or she might pride themselves in the size and value of their network or in their ability to keep up meaningful relationships with a large number of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. Or, they might have a knack for turning a 2 minute introduction into a life long friendship. Prior experience might include successful networking and bringing people together for a shared mission, or other observable people powers.
Main Responsibilities Include:
• Provide content for the director to interact with donor leads, potential foundations, and professional partners to Aleph’s mission
• Manage and maintain the director's regular correspondence with people from a variety of backgrounds and agendas who are connecting with Aleph
• Keep a general awareness of on all the moving pieces within the organization as well as the interests of the people who are connecting to Aleph in order to find and suggest relevant content or interactions for the director (and other senior employees) to hold with members of the network
• Input and maintain data information into Aleph’s Filemaker pro database and prosper works CRM
• Support the major gifts officer and other development team members in donor relations

• Willingness to provide content for others without pride of authorship
• Observable past experiences with bringing people together, leading community involvement and/or instigating a social change
• Significant experience in interacting within the Jewish community and a strong understanding of the different dynamics between people communities and affiliations
• Social media, CRM and e-mail marketing experience a bonus
Duration: full-time preferred, telecommuting/remote applicants may be considered
Salary Range: $18 - $26/ hour, Dependent on skill set
