  • Full Summer - 7 Weeks:  Tuesday, 19 Sivan/June 25 -through- Thursday, 4 Av/August 8.
  • Session 1 - 4 Weeks: Tuesday, 19 Sivan/June 25 -through- Friday, 13 Tammuz/July 19.
  • Session 2 - 3 Weeks: Monday, 16 Tammuz/July 22 -through- Thursday, 4 Av/August 8.


  • Registration fee: (includes Camp T-shirt & Security Fee): $100
  • Full Summer: $2,410 (Tuition-2,310 + 100 Registration)
  • Session 1: $1,420 (Tuition-1,320 + 100 Registration)
  • Session 2: $1,090 (Tuition-990 + 100 Registration)
  • Weekly Rate: $440. If your daughter will not be attending a full session, the weekly rate is: $440
  • Tuition includes ALL TRIPS except for late nights, overnights & Shabbatons. 
  • Payment is due before the summer begins. Payment plans available upon request. 
  • If you registered your daughter, but for any reason your daughter will not attending camp, make sure to let us know at least two weeks before camp begins. Refunds will not be given for last-minute changes.


  • Monday - Thursday: Camp begins at 9:15 am and ends at 3:30 pm.
  • Friday: Camp begins at 9:15 am and ends at 1:30 pm.


  • Drop-offs & Pick-ups will take place in front of the school on Pico Blvd. There will be staff members on hand to help your child from and to the car.
  • Drop-off at the campsite begins at 9:05 am. Please do not drop off your child earlier as there will not be any camp staff on hand to supervise.
  • On Mon-Thurs., the camp program ends at 3:30 pm; your child must be picked up before 3:45 pm.
  • On Friday, the camp program ends at 1:30 pm; your child must be picked up before 1:45 pm.
  • If your child’s end of the day arrangement is different than usual, you must give a written note to the director or head counselor (do not leave an oral message.)


  • Parve or dairy (Cholov Yisroel) lunch, four filling snacks and a water bottle. CGI is peanut free this summer.
  • Bathing suit, water shoes, towel, and sunblock on swimming/water activity days.
  • Clothing and especially outwear should be clearly marked (with a permanent marker) with your child’s name.
  • Please apply sunblock on your child before arriving at camp each morning.
  • Tzedaka.
  • Siddur: Girls going into 2nd grade and up should bring a siddur that can stay in camp till the end of the summer. Please remember to make sure the siddur is clearly labeled with her name.
  • Energy for all the fun!


  • No cap or short sleeves allowed in camp.
  • Please do not cut your daughter's t-shirt.
  • Campers must wear shoes which are appropriate for sports activities.
  • Flip-flops are not allowed.
  • Wheelies are not allowed.


  • Campers are not allowed to bring cell phones to camp. If a parent needs to be reached, the camp can communicate with him/her through camp phones.
  • When camp is out on a trip, the head counselors are equipped with cell phones in case of an emergency.


  • Please share your feedback, suggestions, and critique regarding any aspect of the camp’s program with us. Your input allows us to constantly improve and upgrade our program, and we value it greatly.

  • During camp hours, counselors are 100% devoted to taking care of their campers and are not available for discussions.
  • If you would like to contact your child’s counselor, please send an email to [email protected] or leave a voice message at the camp number. Your message will be returned within 24 hours.
  • Mornings are always busy for everyone. The counselors will be focusing on making sure that each child is settled in and comfortable; they will not be available for any calls, text or private conversations.


  • Keep your child home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness.
  • Children must be symptom free (without the aid of a fever reducing medication) for 24 hours before returning to camp.
  • If your child has an excessive and unusual runny nose, cough or sneeze, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, loss of taste or smell, or any other symptoms typical of COVID-19, we will ask that you pick up your child and keep him/her home for 72 hours. In some cases, a note from your child’s doctor will be required for your child to return to camp.


  • Prior to the start of camp, the camper’s medical form must be signed and returned to camp. No camper will be allowed into camp without a completed medical form.
  • By signing the emergency and medical forms, the child’s parents or guardians expressly agree to release Camp Gan Israel of Hancock Park, its directors, and employees from all liability that may arise from an illness, accident, or misfortune that occurs to the camper:
    i. while traveling to or from camp;
    ii. while swimming;
    iii. while on camp property; and
    iv. while on a camp trip that occurs off the camp property.
  • By signing the emergency and medical forms, the child’s parents or guardians expressly agree that in the event of a medical emergency, they hereby give permission to the administration of Camp Gan Israel of Hancock Park and any other professional health care provider (including hospital personnel, paramedics, nurses, and others) to administer health care services to the camper. This includes but is not limited to hospitalization, medication, X-rays, anesthesia, or surgery.
  • Every effort will be made to contact the parents as soon as possible, but if the parents cannot be contacted, the Administration shall have discretion to determine that a medical emergency exists.
  • Further, they expressly agree to release Camp Gan Israel of Hancock Park and BCM from any liability that arises from accidents or injuries which may occur during such activities.


  • If your child has any special challenges or conditions (i.e., medical, social, behavioral), the knowledge of which would help us in caring for them and maximizing their camp experience, please bring them to our attention. It will allow us to address these needs properly and eliminate unnecessary difficulties.
  • All medication to be administered during camp hours must be clearly marked with camper’s name and be provided in its original container. A separate note containing dosage instruction and parent’s signature must be sent as well. If you would like to discuss your child’s health situation, please call the camp office.


  • By signing the camp registration, the child’s parents or guardians agree and understand that Camp Gan Israel of Hancock Park is hereby given permission to photograph and/or video the camper for use in promotional and publicity purposes.


  • The cost of the bus has unfortunately increased greatly since last year. We will need at least 30 campers that are comitting to take the bus in order to make this possible. If you are interested in La Brea bus transportation, please reach out to Simi.
  • The bus will be available on Monday-Thursday only, please make other arrangements for Friday.
  • Pick-up & Drop-off will be at the corner of Mansfield and 2nd. No camper will be allowed to cross any street without an adult!
  • The bus will depart at 8:50am. Please be prompt. THE BUS WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANYONE.
  • The bus will be leave from camp at 3:30, and should be back around 3:55pm, please make sure to be available to take you daughter home.
  • The fee for the bus will be $80 per week per passenger. MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF EACH WEEK.
  • Registration for the bus is on a weekly basis. No daily drop-offs. NO EXCEPTIONS
