With the 70th year since Yud Shvat quickly approaching, we all want to strengthen our hiskashrus to the Rebbe and give a present to the Rebbe from the Anash in the LA community.
One of the big chidushim of dor hashvi is mivtzoim. Every chosid can be a lamplighter and help other yidden do mitzvos even if they themselves are not the greatest chossid and don’t have the best understanding in chassidus. When we carry teffilin and neshek with us wherever we go, we are constantly reminded of who we are and the great mission we carry.
With this said iy"H we are starting a Mivtzoim Teffilin Drive. This Drive is to encourage all those who do not yet have a pair of mivtzoim teffilin to purchase one and carry it wherever they may go. For those who already have a pair, we encourage them to check it (if it had been over a year since they checked last), our goal is to get 70 people to either buy or check thier mivtzoim teffilin.
For buying teffilin: Chabad Ataras sell for $360 per pair. if needed we can subsidize up to 180.
Another way to join this program is to help others in purchasing teffilin by giving 180 towards a mivtzoim pair for someone else.
For checking Mivtzoim teffilin: Rabbi Chaim Fyazakov will be having a deal for this project until yud Shvat and charge $70 (instead of $85) he can be reached at 619 386 6017
Advantages of having a mivtzoim pair over taking your own pair.
- Practically most people forget to take their teffilin sometimes wherever they go, an extra pair can be left in your office, or even car if you have a good protecting bag
- If you meet a yid who wants to purchase teffilin you can sell him yours on the spot
