In recent years the community has had the zechus
to be mishtatef in the mitzvah of Mais Mitzva.
We discovered 9 unmarked graves, of which some attended our shul.
With the help of Abi Raichik, they all not only got a matzaiva
but also a special pasuk to highlight their special attributes as well as a border around the grave.
To honor their memory, this coming Sunday, first day of shlichos at 11 am, we will be having a Hakumas Hamatzaiva
and tehilim recited at mount olive cemetery
7231 E Slauson Ave, Commerce CA 90040.
The cost of this important and necessary project was close to $15000.
