We are sure you are all aware of the fundraiser for Magen Am. While all forms of tzedakah are incredibly special, We urge you to consider participating in this important fundraiser.
Unfortunately, we are all aware of the increase in criminal activity and antisemitic attacks that target our neighborhoods and community on a daily basis.
We know and trust that the Hashem will continue to protect and watch over His children, but we also know that He entrusted us with the tools and resources to stand up and protect ourselves!
The simple process of walking safely to shul on Shabbos is at risk of becoming a dangerous task, and it's becoming clear that the regular patrol by Magen Am, or a Magen Am guard at our door, is no longer just a luxury, indeed it is a necessity!
Many of us have felt the impact of Magen Am first hand and know that they are always there for us. It is now our turn to be there for them.
We urge you all to consider partnering with Magen Am, so that they can continue and also grow their efforts to empower us to protect ourselves, and create safer streets and shuls for our children and the entire community.
