Due to the increased number of antisemitic incidences in Los Angles and across the country, we have taken additional security measures at the shul. We now have 2 armed security guards on Shabbos, one on La Brea and one in the alley behind the shul. In addition, door greeters and Magan Am security personnel are on duty each and every shbbos and yom tov. We are asking all members to follow simple but effective procedures in order to keep the shul as safe as possible.
All children must be in a program or with a parent during davening hours. We have continuing issues with children running around unsupervised. Many times, they play in the alley and on La Brea (really not good 🙁) or open exterior doors
Please do not prop doors open. Sorry if I sound like a broker record
If you see something or someone who looks like they do not belong, say something to a guard or door greeter.
If you see a stranger filming or taking pictures, DO NOT ENGAGE THEM, please report them to a guard. Many yidden in the area have been arrested ( I am talking about hand cuffs and a free ride to the police station) after getting in an altercation with first amendment auditors.
