The 2nd shiur of the 3-week course by Rabbi Shimon Raichik in the halachos of Tzedaka and Maser for men will take place Tuesday, 18 Cheshvan/October 22, 8:00 pm in shul. Click here for more info. Topics to be discussed:
- Can I say where my pledge are allocated?
- Someone can’t pay their loan; can I use Ma’aser to recoup the loss?
- Do the local poor people take precedence over those out of town?
The 3rd shiur of the 6-week course by Rabbi Shimon Raichik in the Halachos of Shabbos and Yomtov Food Preparation for women will take place Monday, 17 Cheshvan/Oct. 21, 8:00 pm at the home of Mrs. Varda Rav-Noy, 428 N Martel. If you did not make it to the first or second shiur, no problem as it's new material each time. If you would like the notes from the two past shiurim, please e-mail [email protected].

The Shidduch Network is making a kiddush on Shabbos Parshas Toldos in honor of all those who need a shidduch. The list of people needing a shidduch will be read at the Ohel.
