Chassidus is the Mei Maayon the spring waters that refresh our souls. Chabad Chassidus, as in the acrostic Chabad - חכמה, בינה ודעת - signifies the engagement of the intellect. The way to a person’s heart is through his mind.
Baalie Esek, those who struggle with the Mayim Rabim and who engage in learning Chassidus with some seriousness are the committed Tefillas Mincha, the novelty of the Tzipor Hamidaberes.
Here is a community wide opportunity to have a get-together of like-minded people to engage in a stimulating give-and-take in Chassidus, This is not to learn a Maamar but rather to have one suchBaal Esek present and elucidate a concept in Chassidus to other Baalie Esek and to have a dialogue, a Q&A, to inspire and encourage ourselves to reengage with who we are as Chabad Chassidim.
The first such evening will take place this Sunday, 22 Teves, Jan. 3, at 8 PM at Cong Levi Yitzchok.
The presenter will be Simcha Levenberg, a member of the Chabad of Hancock Park community and a therapist at the Chabad Rehab Center.
Note: this program, as the future ones, will start at 8:05 PM sharp and will end no later than 9:15 PM sharp. Please plan ahead to allow time to park and get settled by 8 PM.
Please share this email with those who may not be aware of this program as yet.
