The Rebbe's Diamond Daveners are Marching to New York for the Lag B'Omer Parade

Dear Parents,

Due to popular demand KYY is organizing a 2-Day Trip to 770 (For Boys aged 10 through 8th Grade) for the Grand Lag B’Omer Parade which promises to be the biggest yet.

Details are being formalized but the general outline is as follows:

  • Departure: Motsei Shabbos, the 17th of Iyar, May 1st from LAX to JFK (Delta airlines –nonstop)
  • Return: Monday night, the 19th of Iyar, May 3rd from JFK to LAX (Delta airlines –nonstop)

Day 1

  • Arrive at the Ohel, write a Pan, Daven and then a Continental Breakfast in the large tent in the Ohel
  • Head to Crown Heights – 770 where we will be seated by the organizers in the VIP section followed by a full day of the Grand Parade and Rally (see attached Parade flyer)
  • Picnic Dinner overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge
  • Finish Lag B’Omer with dancing with a live band in the Oholei Torah Ballroom

Day 2

  • Davening in the Rebbe’s Room followed by a tour of the Rebbe’s Library
  • Breakfast
  • Head to Manhattan for a day of sightseeing of Chabad Houses and other sites including The Intrepid and Ground Zero.

This 2-Day Marathon will be a well balanced spectacular trip with lots of Ruchnias and Gashmias combined.

The cost per child will be $359.00 which includes air fare and transportation (while in NY) and all travelers will only be able to take carry on baggage (Rolies and backpacks only) I and a parent (s)will be with the children at all times.

The group fare expires @ midnight Thursday April 15 th 2010
